The granddaughter of United States President Donald Trump is an emerging golf star who is committed to the University of Miami. This week Kai competed in a tournament, the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley.

Unfortunately for Kai, her mother Vanessa didn’t attend the event despite going to nearly all of her daughter’s golf tournaments, according to The Daily Mail. It seems like Kai could have really used her mother’s support, judging from her performance in the tournament.

“Kai Trump finished dead last (24th) by a LOT, and Charlie Woods was 25th out of 36 players. Bronny James vibes here,” posted journalist John Ziegler on Twitter on Friday.

Fans reacted to the tweet on social media.

“Ironically Bronny had his best NBA performance of his career last night, albeit in garbage time of a blowout loss,” one fan responded on Twitter.

“Kai comes from a family that has no athletes. That’s purely bought in. As for Charlie it’s not a shock to me. If your father made it to the pros (and even worse if they were a great) it’s likely they never make it in that sport,” another fan posted, reference Charlie Woods, the son of Tiger Woods, who also struggled in the event.

“Shows how gifted you must be to reach the pros. You can have every advantage in life, but reaching the top requires exceptional talent,” another fan added.

Hopefully, Kai can bounce back and get to the top of her game.
