Earlier this week, a prestigious golf course owned by United States President Donald Trump was vandalized by pro-Palestine protesters. And that group has now issued a pretty strong threat to the president.

Over the weekend, pro-Palestine protesters vandalized Trump’s Turnberry golf course in Scotland, splattering the clubhouse in red paint, painting graffiti across the property, and even damaging several putting greens.

The activist group Palestine Action has taken credit for the incident, tying it to Trump’s recent comments on the Gaza Strip. The former president recently proposed that the United States could seize the region and transform it into a hub for luxury resorts.

In a statement, the group said that it “rejects Donald Trump’s treatment of Gaza as though it were his property to dispose of as he likes.”

It also added a pretty clear warning to Trump.

“To make that clear, we have shown him that his own property is not safe from acts of resistance,” it said in a statement.

On Wednesday, someone was arrested for the crime, sparking another more pointed threat to the president.

“BREAKING: One person was arrested in Scotland, accused of painting and wrecking Trump’s Turnberry golf resort,” the group said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

“Whilst Trump continues to plan and commit war crimes against the Palestinian people, know that no amount of police protection will stop us,” the group continued.

Obviously, this is a pretty concerning threat since they have already proven capable and willing of doing such damage. We’ll have to see how Trump responds.
