Former U.S. President Donald Trump has made it pretty clear over the years that he doesn’t think the rules apply to him.
That goes for the world of politics and, it would appear, the world of golf as well.
Trump, who has been known to make up golf scores and even tournament victories, was recorded recently driving on the green of a golf course.
The offending video, which shows Trump driving his cart across the green, was shared on Instagram.
It’s not the first time Trump has been seen driving willy-nilly across the golf course without any concern for other golfers. In 2017, he was videotaped driving his cart across the greens at Trump National Golf Club.
The golf world was pretty heated over whether or not it was acceptable to drive a golf cart across the green, even if your name is on the golf course. It seems disrespectful to the hardworking people who maintain the greens and is just generally lacking in common decency for others for the sake of your own enjoyment. To be fair, that sums up Donald Trump pretty well.
The former president has 19 golf properties around the world, so if he’s going to damage the greens by driving over them, the least he can do is stick to doing so on those.
