What ever happened to this country when you can no longer shoot squirrels on your roof with a bow and arrow?
Oh … it’s dangerous? Well, don’t tell that to this Staten Island man.
Police were reportedly called to investigate a man who neighbors said was shooting at squirrels with his bow and arrow. Apparently, you cannot do that, and the man was confronted by police.
When responding officers arrived on the scene, Mangia admitted the call was about him, and said he shot the squirrel “on his house,” the spokesman said.
Police charged Mangia with prohibited use of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
As someone who did bow and arrow target practice in my basement as a kid and routinely asked to go outside and shoot squirrels, I’m thankful my mom said no to that one.
