The trailer for an upcoming film that’s centered around Tom Brady debuted on Thursday morning.
Based on a true story, 80 for Brady follows an elderly group of friends, all women, who road-tripped to Houston to watch Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI. A very special Super Bowl for the Patriots, but not so much for the Atlanta Falcons.
Paramount Pictures tweeted, “Four best friends. One wild trip. Watch the new trailer for 80 for Brady starring Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, Sally Field, and Tom Brady — in theaters February 3.”
The film also stars future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski. If you’re wondering if he was authentic Gronk, the answer is yes.
TMZ Sports tweeted, “Rob Gronkowski got flirty with 84-year-old Jane Fonda in the new trailer for the ’80 for Brady’ movie.” Oh, Gronk. Never change.
But Gronk isn’t the only other notable to make a cameo in the movie. Food Network icon and TV host Guy Fieri also appeared in the trailer.
Fieri tweeted, “You know I’m bringing the heat on this one!”
The rest of the sports and film world reacted to the trailer debut. Lots of laughs were had.
Ok! I am so excited for this.
And of course, Guy Fieri is in it.
