Former San Antonio Spurs assistant coach and current Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon is coming off an excellent year that saw her and the Aces secure a WNBA championship. Now that the WNBA is in its offseason, Hammon now has some big media plans moving forward with ESPN.
ESPN announced in a press release on Wednesday that Hammon will be joining ESPN as an NBA studio analyst for the rest of the NBA season.
In her new role, she will be contributing to a number of shows including Get Up, First Take, SportsCenter, and NBA Today.
Hammon certainly has an excellent mind for basketball that she has shown off in multiple coaching stints, and many are excited to see her breaking down NBA action this year.

Becky Hammon was with the Spurs organization for seven seasons, so she certainly knows plenty about the NBA and it’s players that will help her in her new role.
Many remember her as the first woman coach to ever act as a head coach in the NBA in the 2020-21 season when Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich was ejected in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Those who are excited for her debut will have to wait until December, which is when she is set to begin in her new role with ESPN.
