Before he became the most accomplished quarterback in the history of the NFL and won seven Super Bowl titles, Tom Brady played college football with for the Michigan Wolverines. And this week, it looks like he’s going back to his roots a little bit with his alma mater.
On Thursday, Tom Brady and his Brady Brand announced a Michigan apparel collection in conjunction with the M Den. The collection includes hats, shirts, and sweats as well as some limited edition T-shirts of Brady during his time at Michigan.
As part of the launch, current Michigan starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy promoted the product on his Instagram account as part of a NIL deal with Brady Brand. In a video posted to his account, McCarthy shared what Brady has meant to him.

“Defying the odds, he proved it to everyone,” McCarthy said. “Even if you aren’t the biggest, fastest, strongest. You can be one of the best. … What greatness means to me is being the absolute best version of yourself so you can inspire others to be the best version of themself. If everyone strives to be the best they can be, the world is going to be a better place. That’s greatness to me.”
Brady’s partnership with McCarthy and Michigan comes as the team is in the midst of one of its most dominant and successful seasons in program history.
