Kentucky Wildcats head coach Mark Stoops caused a stir when he threw some major shade at the Georgia Bulldogs after the Wildcats 51-14 loss on Saturday.
Stoops said instead of Kentucky fans being upset with the loss, they just need to give more money to the program so they can afford to buy players like Georgia.

“You’ve got to own it, you’ve got to solve it and then you’ve got to go do it,” Stoops said. “The other side of that is, if you want to do that, complain, deny or make excuses. And we’re not going to do that. It is what it is.”
Then Stoops dropped this little gem.
“Fans have that right. I give it to them. I just encourage them to donate more because that’s what those dudes are doing. I can promise you, Georgia, they bought some pretty good players. You’re allowed to these days. We could use some help.”
Stoops was not done there.
“That’s what they look like, you know what I mean, when you have 85 of them,” Stoops said. “I encourage anybody that’s disgruntled to pony up some more.”
Wildcats fans are frustrated because they haven’t defeated the Bulldogs in a while, so Stoops may be right. In order for the Wildcats to get the type of players they have at Georgia, they may need to donate more to the football team than the basketball team, although recently, that hasn’t helped the basketball team either.
