Deuce Vaughn just electrified the college football world with an ankle-breaking touchdown.
The Kansas State Wildcats star pieced together a sequence on the field that might have some NBA players jealous. Will Howard handed the football off to Vaughn after they crept into TCU territory. Vaughn then took the ball and raced for the end zone.
Deuce then hypnotized everyone with an ankle-breaking juke. The move embarrassed the TCU defender and sent him to the turf. Vaughn raced by him and rumbled into the end zone on a magnificent touchdown run.

Oh, that was mean. Let’s look at it from another angle too.
Whew. Holly Rowe provided a nugget on the broadcast that some have noted before: Vaughn’s idol is none other than Kansas State legend Darren Sproles.
Vaughn looked an awful lot like Sproles did in 2003 on that carry. Even NFL insider Albert Breer agreed as he tweeted, “Hard not to watch Deuce Vaugh and not see Darren Sproles all over again.”

Sproles, of course, famously led the Wildcats to a massive upset over Oklahoma in the 2003 Big 12 Championship Game. He embarrassed OU defenders that chilly night in Kansas City the way that Vaughn just did to the poor Horned Frog who went down.
As you might expect, Vaughn’s dazzling run captured the attention of everybody watching the Big 12 Championship Game.
