Bijan Robinson already has NFL scouts dreaming about what he might do at the next level.
After Robinson’s performance Saturday, the Texas Longhorns running back certainly didn’t hurt the perception he may be the first RB selected in an upcoming draft.
The junior rushed 25 times for 243 yards and four touchdowns against the Kansas Jayhawks in less than three quarters. His final touchdown, an impressive 32-yard run, put the Longhorns up 38-0.

With 39 career touchdowns, Robinson now trails only Ricky Williams (75), Cedric Benson (67) and Earl Campbell (41) on the all-time Texas list. Robinson entered the day 11th in FBS with 1,158 yards.
Sports Illustrated asked Texas coach Steve Sarkisian last week if he thought Robinson might be working his way into a darkhorse candidate for the Heisman Trophy.
“The Heisman is a unique thing,” Sarkisian said. “Generally the Heisman goes to the teams that are winning. Whichever guy is on a team that’s winning generally is the guy that’s one of the front-runners or the front-runner for it. So if we want him to be considered for that prestigious of an award, we gotta do our part as a team and we gotta keep winning more games.”
The Longhorns move to 7-4 with their victory Saturday.
College football fans marveled at the Texas star’s big day.
“Someone is going to draft Bijan Robinson very early,” noted one fan.
He just danced around, waited and then hit the hole for the score. Just a rare prospect who will be a dominant NFL back,” tweeted another fan.
