Saturday’s matchup between the Bowling Green Falcons and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets featured a Catch of the Year contender that caught the attention of the college football world.

The catch came towards the end of the second quarter when Bowling Green found themselves in the red zone facing a third-and-ten.

Georgia Tech sent pressure at Bowling Green quarterback Connor Bazelak, which forced him to throw a pass into the endzone that was up for grabs between wide receiver Finn Hogan and a Georgia Tech defender.

Luckily for Bowling Green, Hogan reached back with one hand with the defender draped all over him and came down with the pass for the touchdown.

It is without a doubt one of the best catches from any player this season in Division-1 college football. Fans took to social media to praise Hogan for making the insane play.

Bowling Green was able to ride this momentum from this big play from Hogan into the half, taking a 17-14 lead into halftime.

The Falcons came into this game struggling on the year with just a 1-3 record. Big plays like this from players like Hogan is certainly exactly what they need if they are going to go into Georgia Tech and come away with an upset win.
