The Arkansas Razorbacks have fired offensive coordinator Dan Enos, per Chris Vannini of The Athletic.
Arkansas lost 7-3 to the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday, its fifth straight loss to open conference play.
Enos is expected to be replaced by wide receivers coach and former Ohio State Buckeye Kenny Guiton.
Enos previously worked with Razorbacks head coach Sam Pittman at Arkansas from 2015-17 under Bret Bielema. Enos returned to Arkansas prior to the 2023 season to replace Kendall Briles as offensive coordinator, but lasted just seven games, recording just two wins.
This marks Guiton’s first opportunity to be an offensive coordinator, as he’s previously been the wide receivers coach at Houston, Louisiana Tech, and Colorado State before joining Pittman in Arkansas prior to the 2021 season. At just 32 years old, Guiton becomes one of the youngest coordinators in the nation.
Arkansas has been the SEC’s worst offense by far this season, averaging just over 305 yards per game, down from last season’s 477 yards per game. The Razorbacks also have scored just 26.5 points per game, last in the SEC and down six full points from last season’s 32.5 points per game.
Arkansas is entering its bye week this week, so will have plenty of time for Guiton to take the reins of the offense prior to returning to action on November 4 when the Razorbacks head to Florida to take on the Gators.
