“And when you think about it, what an awful thing for young people to leave us way too soon,” Brown said. “I mean I’m older, I’ve had a great life, I’ve been married, I’ve got children, I’ve got grandchildren, I’ve had a wonderful career. If something happened to me, I got it. We’re good. I’ve had a great life. But young people shouldn’t be taken away from us.”
This tragedy has rocked the college football world. As the Virginia football team continues to mourn, the school decided to cancel their game this upcoming weekend with Coastal Carolina.
As investigators continue to try to figure out why this tragic shooting took place. the two other Calvailer football players who were also shot, continue to fight for their lives.
Brown continued to talk about how devastating this loss is.
