The Miami Hurricanes faced off against the Texas Longhorns with the final spot in the Final Four looming. Luckily for them, they got an absolutely unreal performance from senior guard Jordan Miller when they needed it most.
Miller came into Sunday’s game as the team’s second-leading scorer. He took a lead role against the Longhorns in an absolutely massive way.
He put on a near-perfect performance aside from one turnover in the game. He shot 7 of 7 from the field to go along with 14 of 14 free throws made to help the Hurricanes come away with an 88-81 upset victory to keep their postseason hopes alive.
Miller’s shooting performance puts him in some rare company in the history of the NCAA Tournament. According to ESPN Stats & Info on Twitter, only he and former Duke star Christian Laettner have ever been perfect from both the field and the free-throw line in the last 60 years.
Many took to social media after the game to praise Miller for his truly remarkable performance.
Absurd absurd game from Jordan Miller
He's been everywhere, done everything, been incredibly efficient, raised hell on defense
Awesome game from him

This loss for Texas truly makes this NCAA Tournament one of the craziest in recent memory. The highest seed remaining of teams in the NCAA Tournament is the No. 4 seeded UConn Huskies, which is also the only program remaining that has ever made it to a Final Four.
This NCAA Tournament has been as unpredictable as ever, and Miller’s unreal performance to beat a highly touted team like Texas is truly what most fans absolutely love about the Big Dance.
