Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament and did so in style.
Clark played a significant park in Iowa’s 74-66 win over 10th-seeded Georgia on Sunday. She scored 22 points and broke a Big Ten Conference record in the win to send the program to its ninth Sweet 16.
Caitlin Clark was on a mission right from the get-go. She turned heads with an absurd make from the Iowa logo just a few minutes into the game.
She proved her worth and then some in the performance. At one point, Clark was responsible for 27 of Iowa’s 29 second-half points, whether it be points or an assist.
It was also a historic performance for the superstar Hawkeye. Late in the game, Caitlin Clark broke the single-season Big Ten Conference assist record according to David Eickholt, via the ABC broadcast.
Caitlin Clark has dazzled the college basketball world with her prolific performances. She’s one of the best college basketball players on the planet and projects as an absolute superstar in the WNBA when she gets there. Clark won the Big Ten Conference Player of the Year Award in 2023 after yet another spectacular season.
Much like many times before, the college basketball world reacted in awe to the showing from Clark and her Hawkeyes, who hope to capture the NCAA Championship by the tournament’s end.
Caitlin Clark is incredible and I don’t understand how it’s 2023 and Women’s Basketball is still so undervalued. WNBA in Philly WHENNNN
