Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani dazzled on Sunday with an epic day at the plate.

The two-way superstar mashed two home runs, including one that went over 460 feet! The Dodgers swept the Atlanta Braves, one of the top contenders in the National League, and Ohtani’s offensive production was a crucial reason why.

Ohtani’s first home run clubbed on the day kept his hot streak going. The two-time American League Most Valuable Player has hit homers in back-to-back games.

Then, Ohtani went and mashed one again. This time, it went even further. Ohtani blasted one 464 feet into the seats at Dodger Stadium! It was quite the epic blast, and everyone watching knew it off the bat.

Ohtani tends to play at this elite level, so it’s no surprise to see him do well. But it’s sure as heck fun to watch. Ohtani is one of the best players in baseball today, if not the very best, due to his outstanding strengths. He might just be a DH this year due to arm problems, but make no mistake: When he’s ready, Ohtani also is one of the best pitchers in MLB too.

The Dodgers brought Shohei to Los Angeles for a reason. One of those reasons is performances like the one he turned in on Sunday.

The MLB world had much to say about Ohtani and his incredible day.
