The Baltimore Ravens had the NFL world talking on Tuesday. With the season still a few months away, the Ravens added a dish of excitement to the party by revealing new helmets.
Baltimore’s new lids are a drastic change from the helmets the team has worn throughout their entire existence.
And it seemed like plenty of people loved it!
“The Kings of the North have new crowns,” the Ravens boasted.
Baltimore then added a post explaining the details on the helmet.
The Vikings have had a stranglehold on purple helmets, so this a significant change. And it’s one that does make sense. Baltimore’s held the color purple in their uniforms throughout the team’s entire existence. It only feels right for them to finally lean into it with a fancy new helmet.
That new helmet drew significant reaction from around the NFL world. Not just from fans either!
No word yet on when the Ravens plan to debut this new look, but when they do, expect them to look pretty good when they do.
