Jackson Chourio, the Milwaukee Brewers’ top prospect, has already significantly impacted the bigs. Chourio is getting acclimated to the Major League level after the Brewers decided to call him up for Opening Day. After reaching a milestone last week with his first career stolen base, Chourio reached another milestone on Wednesday.

Milwaukee is hosting the Minnesota Twins this week. On getaway day, the Twins and Brewers did battle in a Wednesday matinee. Chourio decided to leave his first home series with something memorable. The exciting top prospect delivered on that in a big way.

Jackson Chourio connected on his first career home run against the Twins!

Chourio didn’t hit a cheapie either as his 5th-inning blast cleared the wall and went over 400 feet. 402, to be precise.

The Brewers broadcast said the ball jolted off Chourio’s bat for a scorching 103.5 mph.

Milwaukee’s top prospect stirred up a buzz long before he hit the big league level. At 20 years old, Chourio is one of the most exciting young players in baseball. He, along with several others, represents a significant youth movement in the game that deserves plenty of honor and recognition. In this day and age, it’s all about the new stars.

The MLB world had much to say about Jackson Chourio and his first career home run. While the Brewers are struggling, some fans may have left with a piece of history.
